That was the line, but yeah I agree with everyone saying the death of Ned was sad to see. I haven't read the books or looked at spoilers and was surprised to see it come so soon. The show has done a great job in just 9 episodes making me care about a characters death so much. Other thoughts

..the whore that Tyrion met was acting real suspicious during the drinking game about not telling anything about herself

...with all the characters and difficult names I didn't realize that Jorah was the disgraced son of the commander of the Night's watch who gave Snow the sword, or they might not have mentioned that

...why is everytime Catelyn turns to someone for help it is always someone creepy, first her sister with her tiddies out for her son and now the old man just rubbing on that young girls ass

Hope the Starks get some revenge

They briefly mention it, but not in great detail.. btw Jorah and his fathers house (Mormont) swore an oath to the Starks. So that's why Ned got so heated when they said Jorah was the one leaking info about Dany because he made him go into exile.

Sucks it seems as if Jon Snow won't have that conversation with Ned about his mother...Snow DID end up getting a bad ass sword.. His boys was looking at it like the first AK-47...lol

Now Ned couldn't even go out with his honor because of her. He really got fucked over. He died knowing he just threw away everything that actually mattered to him.

yeah that was a nice little touch that was alluded to earlier in the episode when Jon was talking to the Master. The reason men of the Watch dont take a family cause family almost always comes before honor.

Ned was willing to die like a G, but in order to spare his kids for the 1st time ever in lied. And what was his reward? Getting beheaded by his own damn sword.

Yup it plays in their favor cause they don't follow old predictable tactics

Rob is definitely a G. But I loved his speech at the end, "One victory does not end this war. Has it saved my father? Are my sisters free from the queen?" Real emotion / good acting from all the characters. He really looked emotionally hurt.

And I loved how Rob shat all over that honor shit. Fight Jamie Lannister 1 on 1? "If we were to do it your way, I'd lose." It shows true humility for him to admit that he is not as good of a fighter as Jamie. He showed strength by showing his weakness. He didn't get baited into doing something stupid. Rob for president!

Just finished episode 9, and the shit is hot fecal cake. How are they gonna just off Ned? Smh@Joffrey catching a hot brick in real life for being born with that face. Back to Ned, though. He was too soft on hoes. I remember watching when he told the queen about her fucking Jamie, and I thought, "If he lives to the end of the season, he's going to be the new king."

And now this?

And we still got the Dragon chick riding out with Ronnin from Stargate Atlantis and Indiana Jones Light. Loving this show.

Joffrey be on some prisoner of the moment shit, as soon as he saw the crowd going wild for a beheading he just fed into it. Trying to act like it shows strength and power when he really just a coward. What did Ned say, if you condemn a man you should be the one to carry out the sentence. Joffrey ain't big enough to swing that sword. Joffrey gonna get his, that's the point of this show nobody gets to sit on the throne too long.

the new king of thrones book comes out tomorrow I think... The final book is suppose to come out in 2047. You'll be surprised which characters live.

i dont think Joeffry came to that decision on his own. I'm thinking Littlefinger got in his ear. Joeffrey aint the type to be told what to do so Littlefirnger convinced Joeffry to come up with the idea himself. No one on his council wanted him dead. Not his mom, the Eunich, or the Maester. But Littlefinger was standing there with the shit eating grin before Joeffry made his decision and was the only not trying to convince to change his mind. Littlefinger finally got the Starks back and it wasnt by his sword (cause we know how that worked out last time)
