So when the Imp gets knocked out, we get knocked out. When he comes to, we come to. When he finds out there was no battle versus 20,000 men..........the director changes the scene to Jamie Lannister getting captured. And all of this happens at the same time that Ned Starks gets decapitated.
The director doesn't want you to fall in love with the battle. He wants you to fall in love with the future implications of the fight. Not to mention we just saw a sword fight last episode and we saw a sword fight with at the tygarean place. Too many sword fights makes em redundant.
Huge battles are a lot different than a sword fight though. We havent' seen anything on a big scale yet I don't think, but I've come to realize thats not what this show is about, even though I think we will some big battles eventually.
It seems like there is no way they are going to resolve so much in one last episode. I wish the season was longer.
