Not yet. Tariq said they're doing beta testing. I really wished he would have kept shit under wraps. Had all the shit done and was like, "Hey y'all. Barriers of entry too high, expensive too much rules and regulations that they lobbied for.

They buy out or crush anything that looks like real competition

I'm really surprised that Blockbusters and Hollywood Video went away. You would think that they would have knew that streaming was that new technology and they would have needed to fuck with. Just off of the strength of saving money on the overhead involved in running B&M locations.

They basically buy out the competition.

One of the smartest moves Zuckerberg made was buying out instagram for only $1 Billion.

Instagram's worth about $24 billion now.

Same thing when they paid $20 billion for WhatsApp a few years back.

On the surface $20 billion might've seemed like too much, but that company had over 500 million users at the time they bought it.

So, it might've been worth it to pay that much for it just to avoid having to compete with them in the future.

Basically, as long as FB has over a billion users and a huge stockpile of cash.........they'll be able to buy out any company that they see as a future threat.

Some might say Snapchat is competition, but......a month or so ago......Instagram incorporated every feature that Snapchat has.

So how long will Snapchat be able to compete with.......not FB in particular..........but a FB subsidiary (Instagram)?

I've never used Facebook so I never knew they ask people to send ID. Fuck that, no social media site should be asking for ID, and if anyone is that stupid to voluntarily hand it over to them then the joke is on them. Do they not already have enough info on people?
