Lil Wayne?

the niggas career was never in the gotdamn shitter to begin with.

you niggas are starting to act like these white boys did with eminem and g-unit.... yeah... yall almost on that level of ridiculous.

I see your point but you have to admit the Weezy from the late 90's early '00's that was rapping sh*t like "wobbly wobbly" is a different Weezy from the one we known now. The Carter made heads respect him as an emcee whereas before he wasn't taken seriously as a rapper.

you obviously never listened to any of the movie soundtracks.

he showed the fuck out on baller blockin

he showed the fuck out on mannie album too.

real niggas know the deal yo.

What does that have to do with him still not being popular? Wasn't lot of people fucking with Wayne especially after hot boys broke up.. Then tha carter dropped and he became a star .

2 chainz shyt was just weird.

Like he literally jumped back out like he was a completely new person. No announcement of a new name. No mixtape w/ the new name (that im aware of) before he blew. No mention of him bein the artist formally known as Titty boi. It made me uncomfortable that it seemed no one mainstream was acknowlegdin that he had been arund before lol

Wayne was a good one. I rememebr my homie used to bump them Squad up mixtapes n be like 'Wayne is spittin'. I was like Wayne as in the block is hot Wayne?? Jay z hands down influenced him.

Then he was enrolled in college. Remember his 'Go DJ' video had him w/ the backpack on campus. Thats right, Lil Wayne was literally a backpack rapper Lol That was supposed to be his new angle until that lean took over and he got even bigger than what they thought he'd be.

that awkward kid from the Jaz-O video

Twista had an interesting career too he started off just rappin fast as shit wit barely any substance then made da resurrection album which Atlantic didnt release which is crazy to me cuz dat album had so much depth then apparently he was homeless, worked at da car wash nd was takin buses nd shit then he dropped adrenaline rush, then once he signed wit roc a fella he made a lot of songs for da ladies

i might agree with juicy j if u count strictly his solo work, might can count the whole three 6 in a couple months if they're new album does anything

never ever mane.

My career is iconic mane

who you know been around since the 90s makin mills?

who you know making money off tv?

who you know going gold in 2014?

who you know with hit albums?

Top 5 of all time mane

Cam'ron

He always had a sense of humor, but when he lost that wieght he came back a different ngga on Come Home Wit Me.

Both Fate and 20 were pretty bad rappers. 'So Decatur' is the best joint 20 ever put out...and if I wasn't from Decatur I'm not sure I'd even give him credit for that.

But to answer the question, probably the best career revival in rap history.

Wayne albums was plat and gold .. before the carter series...

He's a global star now, but Wayne always had success.

What about 2pac (hear me out)? Started out as a roadie to Digital Underground. N*ggas wasn't really feeling him when he was rapping in dashiki's like Xclan, talking about social injustice and black empowerment. Chronic came out and Dre said "no medallions, dreadlocks or blackfists...". Pac had to reinvent himself and started rapping about gangsta sh*t which was hot at that time. Pac rose up to become the most popular and most influential rapper after he switched his style and started claiming sh*t he didn't grow up on...

The only time pac was rapping In a dashiki, was In same song.

Pac 1st album went gold and had a lot of publicity thanks to the goverment.

2pacalypse Now, was on some gangsta shit. Nigga was rapping about shooting cops and goverment officials. >>>> rapping about shooting invisible gangstas, and biggie.
