Dont know wtf an Arcade Fire is but I was rooting for Hip Hop either way. Couldve been a bomb ass rock/alternative album but fuck all that Recovery is a better album anyway.

Next to TES, I feel Recovery was his best work. Look at it from a life point of view, he dropped some emotional shit. He drowned himself in drugs/alcohol, he lost Proof, he lost his marriage again with Kim. This shit wasn't a hip hop album about bitches, money, drugs, cars and bling. This was Eminem jumping back on the mic and dropping true to life shit, his life yes, but still true to it. There was maybe 2 or 3 songs that were filler.

Recovery was his best work since TES, the other albums are just strange play around content. He hasn't fell off, lyrically he came with it on Recovery and he dropped so much sick wordplay it's ridiculous. To not give him album of the year was bs, he improved a shit load from Relapse. Fuck, he scrapped Relapse 2 and remade a whole new album into Recovery, who does that?

It's whatever though, I never heard of Arcade Fire until Grammy night. I peeped them on iTunes and I don't even see the hype for an award.

If, only we could get people to be this upset about Melle, Mel, Cold Crush, Moe Dee, Spoonie G, Rakim, Krs, Kane, EPMD, Redman, Nas, Ghost Face, Pharoah Monch and whole list of pioneers and talented Hip Hop artists who have been snubbed at awards shows, Hip Hop would be much better off.

Recovery is a shit album just like Relapse was. Arcade Fire have consistently knocked out great albums since their debut. The Suburbs arguably isn't their best album but it still shits all over any album Eminem's knocked out since he's come back
