give me a better explanation than that

im about to bounce so im not gonna go into great detail, but lyrically ross snapped. he had vivid imagery and sharper/wittier lines. lyrically pusha was ok on both songs, and he def had one of the better verses with im so appalled, but it wasnt seeing ross. flow wise, pusha isnt even in the same league. ross rode the beat like it was nothing and on both runaway and so appalled pushas flow sounds forced and it sound like he wasnt really comfortable flowing on runaway.

respect opinon, but pusha's verse was so ill

Success is what you make it

Take it how it comes

A half a mill in twenties is like a bill where I’m from

An arrogant drug dealer the legend I’ve become

CNN said I’d be dead by 21

Black jack I just pulled in aces

You looking at the king in his face

Everything I dream muthaf-ckers Im watching it take shape

While to you I’m just a young rich n-gga that lacks faith

Range Rove leather roof

Love war f-ck a truce

Still move a bird like I’m in bed with mother goose

Them hoes come in a bakers dozen

Claiming they was with me when they know they really wasn’t

I keep the city’s best never said she was the brightest

So if you had it too, it don’t affect me in the slightest

I never met a b-tch that didn’t need a little guidance

So I dismiss her past until she dissappoint your highness

I speak the gospel, hostel

Tony doing time for what he did to nostrils

Paranoid mind I’m still under the watchful

Eye of the law, aspire for more

Them kilo’s came we gave you bobby brown jaw

Flaws aint flaws when it’s you that makes the call

Flow similar to the legend of the falls

Spillin’ I own you all, yeah

t you make it

I love how he has nothing more than an intro in Monster to come back to deliver the killer verse on this track. Like people entering and exiting your dreams...I also love how the verse comes after you assume the track is over, and then how the track ends out of nowhere leading directly to the long piano intro of Runaway. I love every guest verse on this album...Yeezy uses everybody in their very best light.

Has absolutely ZERO soul in his body.

Its funny that you said that because "Devil in a new dress" is the most soulful song on the album so Kanye put Rozay on there knowing he's bring some "feeling" to it..as soon as I heard it I was like yep the bruthas gonna be feelin' this verse and sho enuff ya'll did.

I have seen this line abused too many times. Is it a great line no, but it has a couple meanings.

Obvious, it's for the chicken heads, and not so obvious it's the fruits of selling chickens, yes poultry. Straight poultry homey.

^^^^and what does this random ass line have to do with the song???

smh... fam u quoted that line like it was hot. The song is called "Devil in a new dress". and if u and the rest of these niggas sweatin ross so hard actually listen to kanyes verses, the hook, and the TITLE of the song, its plain to see the shit he was talking about had absolutely nothing to do with the song. thats why as someone mentioned earlier, ross's verse is outta place.

yeah he does have a nice flow and he usually sounds good over soulful beats, which is prob why kanye put him on it. but be real that shit had nothing to do at all with the concept of the song.the best verse of the year cant be one that is outta place and has absolutely nothing to do with the song

Ross said he got the phone call that if he wanted to be on the album and on the song he had to shoot a verse real quick, he had just a few hours to get it in. Give credit to both of them, Kanye went to the bullpen and called the closer and Ross closed it out perfect, its just good music.

Chances are he wasnt told the theme of song, or didnt hear kanyes verse, just the beat. just a guess.

I got a call, they wanted me to be a part of that record," Ross told MTV News on the red carpet at Wednesday's Soul Train Awards. "It was actually the last day before Kanye had to turn the record in, and I think that pressure just made it that much more special to me. So I just sat there, approached the record openly and as straightforward as I could. When I laid the verse, 30 minutes later, I was extremely happy. I sent it to him, and he was too. I think it was one of the dopest verses I did this year."

Lookin' at my bitch I bet she give your ass a bone

Lookin' at my wrist it'll turn your ass to stone

Stretch limousine, sippin' Rosé all along

Double-headed monster with a mind of his own

Cherry red chariot, excess is just my character

All black tux, nigga the shoes lavender

I never needed acceptance from all you outsiders

Had cyphers with Yeezy before his mouth wired

Before his jaw shattered climbin' up the Lord's ladder

We still speedin' runnin' signs like they don't matter

Uh, hater talkin' never made me mad

Never that when I'm in my favorite papertag

Therefore G4s at the Clearport

When it come to tools fool I'm a Pep Boy

When it came to dope I was quick to export

Never tired of ballin' so it's on to the next sport

New Mercedes sedan, they'll export

So many cars DMV though it was mail fraud

Different traps, I was gettin' mail from

Polk County, Jacksonville, rep Melbourne

Whole clique's appetite had tapeworms

Spinnin' Teddy Pendergrass vinyl as my jay burns

I shed a tear before the nights over

God bless the man I put this ice over

Gettin' 2Pac money twice over

Still a real nigga, red Coogi sweater, dice roller

I'm makin' love to the angel of death

Catchin' feelings never stumble retracin' my steps

Verse was all over the place if you ask me. Ross can't go beyond that materialistic rap to save his life.

Agreed. But it was still a nice verse

You right but did Kanyes verses in the song all stay to the theme? No.

i can respect that and that actually makes sense. but how can you say he closed it out perfect and his verse didnt fit the song at all?
