But apparently when one makes a racist joke, and somebody gets offended by it, there's a problem.

Suddenly MFs gotta debate whether the person is really a racist, and not the racist shit they said.

This shit reminds me of other instances where white people get into some racist shit, then suddenly some Black people come out to speak on behalf of their character to say they're not a racist.

but how do you make that differentiation between it being a "racist joke" and "just a bad joke" because people will always find something offensive about a comedian's act.

They know the jokes are racist, they're just hoping for the quick laugh.

That's the same whether it's a Black comedian or otherwise.

Some people got so desensitized to the shit that they even take what these comedians like it's gospel. Got MFs running around saying "A Black person be like..." or even more fucked up "A nigga be like..." followed by the most negative generalization / stereotype they could think of about Black people and thinking the shit is true let alone funny.

Personally I always looked at those kind of jokes with the side-eye because while one MF laughs and gets that it's a joke, there's always some other idiot takin shit to another level.

If the chick was offended, that's her right. If she was being disruptive in response, George had a right to go at her.

My question is, does she laugh at jokes and support black comedians that tell racial jokes? My guess is she does given that all the black comedians on the ticket have done so in the past, but none of us know the answer to that question. If she does, hypocrisy like that is what annoys the shit out of me. You can't ROFL at that corny shit Steve Harvey said about Asian men and then turn around and get mad about Lopez's comments in this instance. Not saying anyone in particular did that. It's just a random example.

I'm not going to speculate on what else the chick thinks / does. All it seems like to me is she took offense, threw up the finger, got up to leave, and got cursed out.

Even if she did all that other shit, it wouldn't nullify Black people from being offended or change the racist nature of the joke. Some people find shit funny, other people don't - and sometimes MFs are laughing at you and not with you.

I see the landscape tho - it's comedy, Black comedians make jokes about other races, etc... but I also know not everybody is going to take everything in stride.

No matter how you look it, I think it's far-gone or backwards to find fault with the chick deciding to leave.
