I guess comedians cant make jokes anymore.

I doubt that.

But apparently when one makes a racist joke, and somebody gets offended by it, there's a problem.

Suddenly MFs gotta debate whether the person is really a racist, and not the racist shit they said.

This shit reminds me of other instances where white people get into some racist shit, then suddenly some Black people come out to speak on behalf of their character to say they're not a racist.

but how do you make that differentiation between it being a "racist joke" and "just a bad joke" because people will always find something offensive about a comedian's act.

my question is are black comedians the only ones allowed to make race jokes good or bad?

They know the jokes are racist, they're just hoping for the quick laugh.

That's the same whether it's a Black comedian or otherwise.

Some people got so desensitized to the shit that they even take what these comedians like it's gospel. Got MFs running around saying "A Black person be like..." or even more fucked up "A nigga be like..." followed by the most negative generalization / stereotype they could think of about Black people and thinking the shit is true let alone funny.

Personally I always looked at those kind of jokes with the side-eye because while one MF laughs and gets that it's a joke, there's always some other idiot takin shit to another level.

Great discussion about that.

Saw the clip. Not a great joke, but it got laughs. He's right for cursing that chick out. If you can't take that shit, then roll out.

You niggas really think the Latino community don't be standing with us a lot?

Some of y'all really think it's ONLY blacks that's trying to make change

I can really tell y'all never been to BLM, protesting against racism and all the other things that affects us as blacks.

Because if you did you would see a ton of Latino and white ppl out there right along with us.

We ain't fighting these battle ourselves y'all.

You stay deflecting what does what you type have to do with the price of tea in China?

Naw nigga. You're deflecting.

You have yet to say what makes GL a racist.

When did I say he was racist? I specifically said that based on his comments he's suspect.

What comment are you referring to

You asked me how does this make him racist. I answered that question.

Naw bruh.

What comment makes him suspect racist

You're either calling him a racist or you're not. Ain't no in between when it comes to that

You're asking a stupid question what comment do you think I could be talking about?

He wanted to be shocking. It was a joke to show how latinos are racist.Every joke does not come with a footnote. But she does have the right to say what she wants but she does not have the right to disturb the show. This one can go both ways. You can´t get mad at her for getting that reaction but if it´s the truth then it is what it is.

If the chick was offended, that's her right. If she was being disruptive in response, George had a right to go at her.

My question is, does she laugh at jokes and support black comedians that tell racial jokes? My guess is she does given that all the black comedians on the ticket have done so in the past, but none of us know the answer to that question. If she does, hypocrisy like that is what annoys the shit out of me. You can't ROFL at that corny shit Steve Harvey said about Asian men and then turn around and get mad about Lopez's comments in this instance. Not saying anyone in particular did that. It's just a random example.

My nigga you should know by now that throwing silly buzzwords at me to circumvent my actual points doesn't mean anything. I don't give a shit about George Lopez. The same way I rarely give a shit about any of the people that these discussions revolve around. It's the principle that matters to me. I don't like hypocrisy. I've been consistent about that. If you nigga's minds don't work on a level that allows you to detach rational discussion from your emotional response to what someone said or did, that's fine, but quit addressing me because we're not speaking on these subjects on the same level.

Again man, if you're too emotionally invested to tell the difference between discussing a topic and defending a person I don't know what to tell you. George Lopez is meaningless to me. I have no reason to cape for him. I simply picked the side of the discussion I agreed with the most and am defending that side.

I swear, ya'll niggas be claiming that women are overly emotional, but from what I've seen on this site, IC dudes are the biggest bitches in existence. If someone says something even slightly racial or racially insensitive, y'all become blind to all logic and reason and instantly go into homotional attack mode.

All this faux outrage is amusing.

Not that I really give a shit but if you guys don't see the difference between an older black woman saying "don't bring a white girl home" and every other race in the land saying "don't bring a black person home" then you're not paying attention.

What the hell did black people ever do to mexicans, asians, whites or indians?

OJ killed his wife?
