i know..but he wouldve eventually won SOME plus look how he was controllin the crowd pac wouldve definitely changed the face of the hiphop category of how the grammys was judged..,he wouldnt have just sat back & accepted the bs that goes on 2day a macklemore wouldve never walked away wit 4 hiphop grammys

Just stop it. In that clip Pac brought out a makeup wearing freak show gimmick of a rock band Kiss and gave an award to who we (black people ) considered at the time an oreo, country singing ass sellout Hootie and the Blowfish and called them his homies. Pac would have been cool as fuck with Macklemore.

This is some Florida locker room mentality right here. You have no idea what Pac would have thought.

So people that are predicting Pac would "Hit em Up" are doing what? Macklemore is politically minded and so was Pac. Since when did being a popular whack rapper put you on Pac's radar?

Those people also have no idea. No one does.

But your point and theirs isn't necessarily mutually exclusive. Maybe he would have been cool with Macklemore the rapper/person, but still critical of the political and racist paradigm that surrounds him and he benefits from.

Kiss is probably the most overrated rock band ever and I listen to a lot of rock. These dudes are known more for their gimmicks than they are their music, they should be the last person to criticize anyone. Take away the face paint and all the pyro and over the top shit at their show what do you got.

Their a lot better than that dreadfully bad slipknot.

I always wondered why all these random acts that have nothing to do with Rock & Roll are included in the R&R HOF. He's right. They've basically turned it into a general pop music HOF, which I could see being annoying to someone who actually did real R&R...well real white R&R.

I still want to talk about Hiphop Honors lol! Somebody said they covered all of the years in hiphop... Man how could you say that? Hell, the Rock N Roll Hall always honors well known artists and will throw some either not universally known or forgotten rock star in there. Why can't we honor more rappers? There are way more than enough rappers to honor over the years, especially if you keep it to 4-5 acts a year. I mean you could Honor Brand Nubian and the individual members all in one year... Same with a lot of rap groups. You see the RNR Hall and Grammy motherfuckers honor The Beatles and the individual members almost every year.. They have honored Fleetwood Mac as a group and Stevie Nicks individually. Why can't we do that with hiphop? People are worried about Soulja Boy being honored years down the line... If that happens, so be it.

Yea Gene and Paul basically want nothin to do with Ace and Peter (the two other founders of the band) and try to act like they weren't important to the bands success when it's the opposite and why the band fell off horribly after they left around 79-80...

Peter wrote arguably their best hit with 'Beth' and Ace was hands down the most talented member and would sometimes play guitar and bass b/c Gene couldn't play bass for shit, he also created the face paint they wear.. Gene and Paul were in it for the money and lifestyle more than the music
