To be honest tho, its a different culture nowadays. A lot of these kids grew up on 106 & Park so they dont want to hear about killing niggas and cap peeling and gang banging. They just wanna get on youtube and do the superman and the booty do while posting it on facebook and twitter. They dont want to hear about niggas getting killed because they'd rahter hear something to dance to. Which isn't necessarliy a bad thing, actually positive to some degree. I mean i'd rather have my kid doing some silly ass dance moves in the living room instead of running around talking bout i'mma shoot this nigga n shoot that nigga

I disagree with the bolded... On one hand you got kids thinking they can actually say fuck school and think they can be rappers by getting discovered on youtube or whatever but that shit is a one in a million chance and you really gotta have a fan base... Also whether they listenin to these alleged rappers/ artist talking about killing or sellings drugs or if they just checkin up on the dances.... The youngsters are still hearing and receiving the message of violence that these "artist" are putting out there... Kids are dying or getting shot everywhere but the youngins in Chicago are droppin like flies (20 and under)... Not to say that it's all rap music but they don't have father figures or true guidance in there lives to help them to understand that 98% of what they "artist" say they did or are still doing isn't true.
