You got a point with Ross to a certain degree but I think what the T/S is trying to say is that gangster rap having a major impact on the industry is over with for now.
Oh i get it, you can rap about being a Blood, kill niggas, guns and shit but that's still not gangsta rap because he has a few songs for the bitches (like T/S mentioned "gangsta rappers" do, make a few songs for the bitches right?)? Then you say that you only agree about Ross to a certain degree..lmao c'mon. Dude portrays the role of a huge drug kingpin/street dude (Freeway Rick), 80-90% of his music is coke/gun or street related..but yet he isn't a gangsta rapper?
Oh i get it maybe because he isn't throwing up gang signs and is from the West Coast? I remember how many mf's used to claim that DMX wasn't a gangsta rapper and that he was a street rapper (like there's a difference) due to the fact that he was from NY lmao smh. Gangsta rap is a label the media created to certain rappers in the 90's but the same element gangsta rappers rap some of these other artists regularly rap about too.
Lmao you niggas is done in the head.
