Who d win between Khal Drago and the Mountain?

I think Khal Drogo. Mountain was just big and powerful that's why men feared him but I don't think as a knight, skill-wise he was all that. You don't need skill when you're 8 feet tall and weigh 500 lbs of rippling muscle n/h. Robert Baratheon in his prime could have beaten the Mountain. He slayed Rhaegar Targaryen in a 1 on 1 fair and square.

My tier list for best swordsmen in GoT from the beginning of the show would look like this:

1. Jaime Lannister

2. Ser Baristan "The Bold" Selmy*

3. Brienne of Tarth

4. Loras Tyrell

5. The Hound/Sandor Clegane (unlike his brother he was renowned for being as skillful as he was powerful and imposing)

5. Syrio Forel*

6. Oberyn Martell

7. Khal Drogo

8. The Mountain

9. Jorah Mormont

10. Qhorin Halfhand

* Baristan & Jaime are interchangeable I think if Baristan was Jaime's age it might be a diff't story

(before yall hate on Syrio - he's from Braavos and the "water dancing" is a versatile and a feared style in the books. Also in the books, in Braavos, men who have their swords out at night can be challenged to a duel at anytime. It's actually apart of their culture and they do it to see whose the best. The fact that Syrio is as old as he is and still alive means he had to have been nice af. he did beat several knights with a wooden sword)

Shit you might be right, dayum I forgot about him I never think of Eddard when I think of the best swordsmen but true say he's made his bones.

Sion hit it on the head. Ned isn't considered a great swordsmen like Syrio, Jamie, Barristan, Sir Loras, and Rhaegar, but he's capable.

Ned's a big dude and his sword ice was melted down to make two different blades, so on the battlefield he's no joke.

Robert Barretheon was apparently one of the trillest warriors to live before he got on that shit.

The Mountain just has size, I think Sandor leaves him leaking in a fair one. Brienne has that size thing too "that's a huggggeeeeeeee bitch."

In the books when asked about fighting Sandor, Jamie says in so many words "he would run."

Jorah is no joke, his swordsmanship is renowned.

The half-hand was trill as fuck, people knew about Qhorin, but he had to take that L to Jon in order to preserve humanity.

I'm leaving other people out, but they aren't really relevant to the show.

Khal Drogo and Tormund "last of the Mohicans" Giantsbane would be a trill fight.

And Bronn is known to be nice, but like Loras it's because he's clever.

cersei and tyrion on screen together made for some of the show's best scenes

they are a lot alike.... cersei is intelligent but was always underestimated, and never given the chance to hone her intelligence because she was not the right gender...instead of grooming her to become a ruler, she was married off to the best suitor...all of which has lead to the massive chip on her shoulder and her refusal to heed the advise of others

tyrion obviously is also very intelligent, but he's far better strategist because he was given the opportunity to expand his base of knowledge ...and has constantly had to use his intelligence to out maneuver those bigger and stronger than he was

though the apple of twyin's eye, jamie was always the weakest link... he's the most short sighted... he rarely thinks before he acts... the lest ambitious ...allows himself to be manipulated by cersei

We still didn't see if he lived or died and not one word has been said about him. He made sure she escaped. Then he got himself captured with his original face so he could meet up with her. Out of everybody there he was the only one who saw she was a girl and seemed to already know who she was. I think after her training he's gonna reveal himself to her.
