Had arryn been able to do so without interruption, robert would've killed/attempted to kill the lanister twins and their children...tywin would have come to their defense and that would have meant war

Ned would have been called by Robert to help in the war effort

and considering at the time the lanisters were still the richest house in the kingdom they could've very well unseated king robert ...if ned had survived the war, he would've still faced persecution for his loyalty to robert

true. but if all ned had to do was fight he woulda been good. that's his duty as robert's man & lord of winterfell to help him out. but saying the lannisters did it forced his hand & got him to feel obligated to go to king's landing to protect robert....taking him allllll outa his element. he & cat got thrown into the politics of "the game" & were unmatched.

You're assuming the Lannisters would have won that war, let's not forget Robb Stark - a mere boy beat the Lannisters in every battle. They had to snake him at a wedding under false guest right just to stop him. Now imagine with King Robert in power and for a crime like that nobody would have come to the Lannister's help. It would have been Ned AND Robb Stark working together, House Tully, House Arryn, House Martell, Stannis Baratheon, The Kardstarks, The Boltons and the Tyrells all against Tywin and company. It would have been Cersei and Jaime's heads rolling into a basket while Joffrey, Tommen and Myrcella woulda prolly been sent to the Wall, Tyrion as a hostage prolly playing jest to Robin Arryn & Tywin hiding out in Casterly Rock as a disgraced Lord for the rest of his life. Baelish woulda gone to the winning team and sided with the Starks.

The Lannisters wouldn't have beaten King Robert if they went to war. They would have had basically the whole realm to deal with because everyone loved Robert. That's the whole reason he married Cersei. He had the love of the people, but he didn't have the resources to back a good king. Tywin did, so they joined the houses even though Robert didn't really care for the Lannisters. If it came down to the crown going to war with the Lannisters, all the major houses would have sided with the crown.

Tyrion is the youngest, I think he's meant to be in his early 30s. Cersei and Jamie are both 40, Tywin and Joffrey both mentioned his age this season. So I imagine Cersei/Jamie were at least 8-10 when Tyrion was born. I assume Oberyn is of a similar age, maybe a little older since he has more kids. Pedro Pascal is 39 in real life, Lena Heady is 40 and Coster-Waldau is 43 but is meant to be her twin. I think it is safe to assume the older actors were cast to fit their age and the younger characters aged up like Jon Snow and Daenerys. But they are going mostly for dead on casting so I think it is fair to assume Oberyn is 39 in the story too at least.

The math doesn't make sense.

That would mean that Cersei had Joffrey when she was 8 years old.....assuming that him and Sansa are the same age.
