Daenerys has one of the more interesting storylines in the books though; and not because of Jorah Mormont, although he is pretty G. I can't spoil it for you, but since this is based on Clash of Kings you're in for a shock from her actually.

The books are actually better than the show. GRRM does a great job of painting a picture with a pen. I'm about a third of the way through the third one and honestly I'm mad I didn't read these books a long time ago.

yea me too but i just don't think i can read this type of shit. i can watch the show and enjoy it but not sure I can read about dragons and shit plus the books are long as fuck. i did a preview on my kindle and it was kinda hard reading the 1st book being I've already seen teh 1st season. it's like reading for nothing. but then you just can't start reading the 2nd book b/c you might have missed soem shit that wasn't in the show.
