How is the weather usually like in late December in vegas? I'm spending Xmas and New Years there. Also is it safe to smoke in a vegas hotel room?

70-60 degrees, from what I've been told, I had a non smoking suite, but people was smoking in there anyway. And the same at the other hotel rooms, too. So I guess its no.... Unless you get a neighbor that complains about smelling it in the hallway or something.
