And yet saying that it was not justified is quite consistent with what I have been saying.
Think of it this way. Just because someone is acting in an unjustified manner towards you doesn't mean that you can't act more or less smartly in response to that justified behavior. So, for example, someone may stick you up and say, "Give me your money! If you run, I swear to God that I will shoot you." Clearly, the person is wrong for sticking you up. Still, despite that fact, it does not follow that no question can be raised about the prudence of responding one way or another. And in fact, presumably it would be stupid to run in such a situation. And if you did run, and got shot as a result, it would not be inappropriate for others to say that you acted stupidly. Yet saying this does not imply at all that your shooter was justified in shooting you.
A similar analysis applies to this police shooting.
I really have no idea what the fuck you're talking about. There was 3 seconds between him turning around and dying, I don't know what else you wanted this dude to do. Why are you making justifications for a fucking cop and relating it to armed robbery, that shit don't sound dumb as fuck yo you?
I'm not justifying the cop's actions though. In fact, I'm trying to explain why it can both be true that the shooting was unjustified and that the kid acted stupidly in not complying fast enough.
There was a typo (now corrected) in what I wrote, but I am clearly not justifying what the cop did.
Really look at the bold. Please explain how you can bring yourself to type some bullshit like that.
I don't think you would ask this if you understood what I'm saying. So read my post two posts ago again. The kid is dead. His friends are alive. Even if he kept walking but turned around immediately when approached and complied, he probably would be alive. So it seems to be to be clear that he acted in a way that was not very smart.
And yet the shooting was still not justified.
Not going to lie I will NEVER have an understanding of "not complying fast enough". Fact of the matter is he COMPLIED which is all that is asked of him. No where does it state you have a certain amount of time to comply.
Why are you so conviently leaving out that he had earphones in playing loud music? Maybe he didn't hear the intial directive. Why does he have do what his friends did if he didn't feel like what they did was right?
I myself as well as plenty of other people go in the opposite direction of the police even though we haven't done anything wrong.
You can say all you want how the killing was wrong but by saying he didn't comply fast enough you are justifying what happened.
No, I'm not justifying what happened. The cop shouldn't have been so quick to pull the trigger. But the guy did not act smartly. He knew that his friends had stopped to talk to the cops, so he must have known that they were gonna follow him since he didn't stop, and when he turned around he didn't comply as fast as he could. But saying this doesn't imply that the shooting was justified.
The bold is the end of the fucking story plain and simple. Saying "he didn't comply fast enough" is giving a reason/excuse where there isn't one so you are in fact justifying what happened.
How did he not act smartly? Just cause he wasn't a sheep to what his friends did? So if they jumped off bridges for fun and he didn't does that make him wrong as well? Why should he assume they were going to follow him if he and friends did nothing wrong? What does he have to talk to the police about if he has done nothing wrong? I'm not with that explaining shit to people when I haven't done anything cause it will appease them and make them feel better.
You turn around with a gun in your face you a got damn fool if you don't try to assess what the fuck is going on before you blindly follow what some stranger is yelling at you to do.
Everything you saying is basically you would rather live on your knees instead of standing up and dying on your feet if it came to that.
The person who said a few months ago some of yall would make great slaves again was right.
No, it is not the end of the story. Just because someone is acting in an unjustified manner towards you doesn't mean that we can't assess how smartly or stupidly you act in response to that unjustified behavior. And if we conclude that you acted stupidly, that doesn't imply that the unjustified behavior was justified after all. If you think that it does imply that, please explain why you think that.
Its only "you" nigga ain't no "we" in this sucka shit you trying to justify.
Put it this way.
I understand we all come from different walks of life and are raised with different beliefs, values, morals, standards and codes. With that said I will NEVER just go along with some 100% wrong shit just to ease the situation and hope it goes smoothly. I am not that type of man and don't want or have those type of people around me. Not with that go along to get along shit. If its wrong its wrong ain't no ifs, ands or buts about it.
u notice how he refused to acknowledge the headphone part? dude be trolling and i know he a lame CAC pretending to be black
The headphone doesn't change much. He kept walking away when his friends stopped, and he didn't immediately put up his hands when he turned around. If a policeman points a gun at you you put up your hands. Dude was willfully being non-compliant, and that was imprudent. That said, he shouldn't have been shot.
You don't know shit but the stereotypical ideas you have about how black people think and act.
