He should known that cops are liable to shoot and then say that they felt reasonable fear since they didn't know what the person had in his pockets. Originally, the case picked up some media attention because ppl labelled it a case of black cop kill unarmed white guy...but then ppl felt stupid when the facts came out that it was Hispanic officer shot unarmed half Mexican half white guy. It fell off the radar until now again.

What I said was if a cop suddenly appears with a gun drawn and pointed at you, you should be careful not to give him a reason to shoot. In this case that means taking your hands out of your pockets. Or if you have the music up and you can't hear what he's saying, turning it down to hear what he is saying. What this dude did was reckless given the way these cops are.

Actually, this may be a case where non-black privilege caused this young man's death.

He may have felt, based on his experience as a half-white, half-Mexican person, that the cop wouldn't shoot a harmless kid just cause he didn't immediately take his hands out of his pockets. A black kid more likely would have thought, "I may be a harmless kid, but this mfer might actually shoot me, so let me do what he says."

In all honesty though why dont dudes just comply? u already know they trigger happy not saying its right, but id rather be stopped and frisked then another video being shown on here.
