That's how I am at work. I put on my headphones & let me be to myself. I also do it because other people misery can kill you. My job be having Christmas dinners at various restaurants, everybody mostly go except me. I'm good, I don't wanna see anyone after work hours. Like you said "I only come here for my money, I'm not invested into my job like that"

At my job I speak to alot of people but they tell me they business volunteerily without me telling them nothing about my life like that. I know so much about who like who, who getting paid what, who getting head during lunch breaks, like I know all the shit without having to ask but it's because people know I know how to keep my mouth shut so I'm the only one

Like this one guy like this chick there and think she don't drink and is a goody two shoes type of chick because she told him that. But When I speak to her alone, not only is she talking shit about how creepy that dude is(she wouldn't tell me if she thought I was a snitch), ....but she be inviting me to bars and acting like she want me to smash. Our convos always go in a sexual direction. He can't even get her to eat lunch with him and this bish Gave me her number on the DL and everything without me asking like that.

Now about the issue of office romance to those reading this thread who has thought about that special someone at the office but was scared because of stories like these, let me just say theyre a plenty of successful office romances please dont let this dissuade u. Some have ended in marriages or just pleasant distractions and nothing else.
