InnerDragon;3943597 said:Ha ha I'm with you. This dude I know came to my door reciting some Drake and Wiz Khalifa shit wearing something Lil B would wear. I'm like, "Nigga, you 35 years old. Get the fuck out of here with that bullshit. I don't date any guy who can fit their nuts in them tight ass jeans." I hate to act tacky like that, but niggas can't think that's hot.
On point, my beef is this stupid punchline rapping acting like clever lines make you a great rapper.
H-Rap 180;3947803 said:No beef, just an understanding that most fans see HipHop as just entertainment so most artists see it as just a hustle.
it's me bi***es;3948233 said:and this the reason why hip-hop is dead! before it was making raps bout ur sorroundings whether it b poverty, gangs, drugs police etc. muhfuckas had a reason to speak up cuz hip-hop was our voice! now its all about making a catchy tune and a dance and u can make it big! FUCK THAT SHIT!
straightupsho;3948269 said:are u still living in 2005?
Anyway artists have always seen it has a hustle/a way to get money, why else would they do it? There's an article somewhere about big daddy kane saying he does rap for fun or money or something like that....the point is, the majority of rappers make music to get money off their craft/something they love
it's me bi***es;3948372 said:im on that 2013 shit! All u muhfuckas are behind! Diference between a muhfucka like me and u is, u go with the times, im ahead of my time! But we're talkin bout 2 diferent things, im talkin bout how back in the day when hip-hop actually had substance in it we used hip-hop as our voice because we wernt being heard. Now what u talkin bout is how rappers use hip-hop as a hustle or a way to get money which is what shits about now a days and the reason why hip hop is dead! Muhfuckas more worried about making that paper no matter at what cost and how much they gota sell out... Look at wayne, wiz, etc look at there first records how they looked, dressed, act and look at em now and ull see my point...
straightupsho;3948394 said:i see what you're saying but this isn't anything new. if you could make money off rapping, you'd do it in a second no matter how good or bad you are, i don't think you can criticize someone who makes it out the hood because of hip hop
it's me bi***es;3948446 said:at the first bolded i agree to an extent that i guarantee u i wouldnt sell out or b sumthing im not! At the second bold i never criticize nor would i ever criticize sumbody who made it out that hood! Shit thats what we all strive for! My beef is with a muhfucka selling out or being sumthing hes not, thats it...
straightupsho;3948216 said:ignore shadyteam, she doesn't know much about hip hop, everyone knows Eminem's battling and pop "beef" made him famous
sionb55;3948515 said:Prolly the disconnect b/w dudes who grew up listening to the 90s hiphop & the niggas who grew up on the 2000s hiphop, if them niggas could learn to acknowledge & respect each other I think the game would be a better place & it might even show in the music.
& second prolly the whole hype around the first week sales projections & shit. Dont get me wrong the game has always been about sales but wat about what the entire album sold over a period of time ? Big Sean did 100k in the first week and niggas said that was a success but he's barely sold 300k & its been what a year now ? SMH.
HazeNAlize;3948494 said:So Eminem was famous and known when he was battling in Detroit?
Eminem never become famous after his debut Album on Interscope?
So just cos he dissed Pop stars that is good? rather than just making Songs like Lose Yourself, Sing For The Moment, Not Afraid etc
sionb55;3948577 said:Yeah for him personally it is. but man I hate how everyone fixed on sales nowlike what about the music ? I remember wen BISD came out & didnt do so well niggas ignored the quality of the music & only talked of the sales. That was a solid album definitely better than Curtis..... but it fell on deaf ears.

the wrong rappers are being pushed to the forefront in hiphop by the media^^^^^^^^^^nobody in my hood gives a shit about mac miller, nor do most know who he is. When vanilla ice was being pushed to the forefront in hiphop, the hiphop community said fuck ice ice baby, get that corny ass shit outta here. My point is, hiphop came from the streets, and the streets should represent what our music is about in HIPHOP. These lollipop rappers are KILLING hiphop with ease and it seems alot of people are too blind to see it or dont care. Alot of mac miller and eminem fans dont even care about the hiphop culture, they just want to be entertained it seems.
Fuck drake, his soft ass fans, and his motha fucking crew, they ALL annoy the hell outta me. The way i seen them soft clowns acting in the common/ drake thread i was shocked and disgusted at seeing what this once aggressive first, culture has become. The fans are to blame more than the actual rappers at this point. Rappers are only going to do what they are allowed to do in most cases. Drake seems to only do what he does (sneak dissing and never battle a fly) because his cupcake fans cosign his hoe activity to the point they fight all his battles for him. I sware ive NEVER seen anything like these cupcake niggas in my whole fucking life. These cupcakes seem like the type that will be watching a boxing match and in the middle of the fight start yelling, "leave him alone, let him get his money, stop punching him so damn hard". I could careless how any of these cupcakes feel about this post, yahll hero flake is starting to make me hate hiphop, along with yahll 100,000,000,001 excuses to why flake doesnt have to defend himself EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
