I for one feel Mac Dre is indeed a legend even if only regionally (he was and is also very respected in places far from the Bay). It's a waste of time attempting to explain why he's a legend to someone outside that movement or just recently listen to couple of songs and formed an opinion. To understand why some of us give the mac named Dre legend status you've got to understand that movement and his impact with in it.

When did I say otherwise? Gucci Mane can't touch Mac Dre even in his dreams. And yes, Mac Dre does make words rhyme like any normal proper rapper which I do know about. What I meant is, making "holler" and "bleed" actually pronounced in a way that it rhymes is like doing the impossible and deserves the GOAT award.
