Basically this guy was a probationary cop like a rookie on training day or that 50 cent movie where he was a rookie cop. He was exposed to the veteran world of getting high on the job, robbing dealers, beating people etc etc etc and seen it get wiped clean under the blue code of silence.

He was that eager beaver, happy go luck, dudley doo-right type going into this fraternity and was let down when he as a scrub was exposed to the dark side. So he decided to be the guy with the balls to report all their dirty deeds and was looking for others to stand with him (they let him down... especially the uncle tom black guy that didn't stand with him when being called a nigger)

The review board and the top brass all being in on it went by their scratch ya back protocol and they fucked him royally especially when the black woman that he reported was actually a factor that sat on the board (conflict of interest that they purposely ignored when he point it out and wanted her off the committee)

He goes back to his Navy reserve job until his police termination caught up with him and because of it they gave him the shaft. Now jobless with a stained employment record behind top brass connected to the L.A.P.D & the Navy fucking him royally... This is the only alternative that he deemed viable.

This shit is just like a movie.
