The fact that he shot himself before the fire consumed him, lets the police off of any shit they tried to pull. (killing him w the fire)

No it isn't b/c the actual act of intentionally lighting fire to the cabin to lure someone out would be a crime, regardless of his fugitive status. The question is will the general population (caucasian pop) care enough about the situation to put the heat on police about it... sadly the answer is no since it was a black fugitive that was the lone victim of the fire.

Unfortunately, a large percentage of white people are easily coerced into believing whatever it is the media wants them to believe. In this case what they led them to believe was that Dorner was a calculated though menacing and senseless murderer that was a threat to the public.

Through all of this they never really mentioned too often that he was targeting the LAPD nor did they really delve into why he was doing it. But they did often bring up that he was, "fired for making false statements against another officer." Never the details of that case though.

If a person wasn't paying attention to this situation all the way through then they would have never known what Dorner was all about (his intentions).

To people with ideologies similar to the ones that brought about their actions, I'm sure they are heroes.

Really no difference between the two situations in that regard.
