So, after Dorner's end, how will this guy be remembered? When I read through his manifesto, I felt as if was preaching to the choir about police corruption and racism. He grew up around white folk, and he experienced their racism first hand. However, he chooses to become a COP out of all the professions he could've chosen? If Cali was an experience for him growing up, then he should've known about the fucked up shit the LAPD does to brothas all the time! Another thing I was thinking about was that if he was re-instated his job back with the force, would he have came out with his manifesto? Would he have went on with his rampage against this "corrupt system" he wanted to align himself with again? PROBABLY NOT... It sounds like this dude was WAS TOO NAIVE...
Now let's talk about that Manifesto... He states that he wasn't a "rapper" a "thug" or a "baby daddy..." He painted himself as a "veteran" and an American citizen... Fuck you meant nigga!? Was he trying to say that he wasn't not a "nigger?" This nigga should've woke up and smelled the coffee... It doesn't matter if you're rich or poor, educated or uneducated... THESE DEVILS WILL STILL SAY THAT YOU'RE A NIGGER. PERIOD. These "rappers" , "thugs" , or "baby daddy's" ancestors were brought on the same slave ships as his!
NO BLACK MAN SHOULD EVER PUT HIS HOPES AND DREAMS INTO A U.S. PARAMILITARY ORGANIZATION THAT DOESN'T CARE WHETHER HE SUCCEEDS OR FAILS. Knowing from first hand experience as a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, once you go against the grain of what they think you should be, the powers that be will label you as that "troublemaker." That's what happened when he broke that "blue wall of silence..." He basically dry snitched on his co-worker. He was the type of officer that the LAPD was afraid of... If he was going to snitch about that one incident, then he would've exposed more about that department as time progressed when he would've seen more incidences of police brutality. We all know that police brutality happens all the time with the LAPD, and Dorner was labelled as a potential liability. Police testifying against their own...? Civil suits...? Potential loss of money from the department due to these civil suits...? Another incident of civil failure of American law enforcement...? Yeah.... Droner was a problem...
His life didn't "end" when he was rejected by the force. If anything, it should've been RESURRECTED. Tough break nigga... Dreams deferred is part of the American experience!! He should've just walked tall out of that department, became a success without them, and flipped a "middle finger" to all of those bastards that wanted to see him fail! Unexpected success in the face of opposition, underestimation, and hate is an EVERYDAY OCCURRENCE WITH BLACK MEN... We're suppose to THRIVE off of our haters! That's what kept us functioning in this damn country!
