Nah Kanye West is just one facet of the musical conglomerate that is Drake...

What I mean by that is that nothing Drake does is original, but he takes bits and pieces from various artists to create his persona

I said this couple days ago. 808s and Heartbreak birthed the Drake, Wale, J Cole styles. But more importantly, he opened a lane for the emo rapper that Kid Cudi reluctantly stepped out of.

Well Cudi did actually take part in the writing process for 808s so I'd think its safe to say he helped birth this lane.....

Real talk, almost all these new rappers is on some kanye shit. Drake, big Sean, kid cudi, j. Cole, wiz kalifa, etc. Like it or not college dropout birthed a lot of these rappers and u can hear it in they music. And 808s jus sent the shit to a new amazingly gay level.

so everybody's gonna forget q-tip's kamaal the abstract, common's electric circus, and dre 3k's the love below? those albums were just as(if not more) instrumental in shaping the alternative rap scene just as much as ye's albums. even though, aside from the love below, they wrent very popular during their release
