That right there is the problem. The Sixers can't move him cuz they'll have to eat most of that contract. Even if they get an expiring contract, they're admitting VERY early in the season that they're gonna tank things and give up. The Philly fans and media would have a field day with Sixers mgmt if they did that.

They should've held onto Dalembert and his expiring contract. I think they might've gotten more outta it if they would've waited to trade him to a contender in need of a shotblocker later in the season.

Good deal for Philly, cus they get themselves that cap relief that they've been looking for. IDK what New Orleans is thinking though, Trevor Ariza is a lesser paid version of Iggy, maybe he doesnt handle or pass the ball like Iggy does, but he can defend, is just as versatile, and is a better spot up shooter.
