This is a touch choice for me since I think both are overrated and neither is top 5 alltime but I gotta go with Kobe. Kobe has got to be 6 and 1 or so just off the top of my head against the spurs. Bruce Bowen a great defender never could stop Kobe, he liked playing the spurs. I can't remember him not shitting on the spurs and Tm never played great against LA. He was either being guarded by Shamki walker or Robert Horry and never could do them, and David and other guys were guarding Shaq. Tim can't get you 40 or 50 if you need it like Shaq Hakeem and Karl. Shaq never wanted to guard tim cause of the foul trouble so I expect alot more being guarded by those guys and Gasol shit on him the last time they met in the western finals.

Also on that tim did less with more, they both have had alot of help :

Sean Elliot Allstar with Tim, same for David even though he was on the down side he still was an allstar not to mention Bruce Bowen, Stephen Jackson, and Robert Horry and oh yeah Tony and Manu > D wade Tony and Manu > Iverson Tony and Manu > T-Mac are you kidding me saying Tim would have more playing with a great guard LMAO shit Tony and Manu > Kobe If you traded Kobe for Manu and Tony the Lakers would probably have 70 wins and the Spurs would be washed up
