Sad thing bout t.i. he is not the king of the south! How is he the king of the south, because he is real, gtfowtbs! He isn't the best on his label he is an above average rapper at best, and couldn't compete with south's best rappers! We seen what happenend with stomp goin against luda we seen how that turned out.

I agree that he is not the best in the south but if you put it up there, The dudes in the South who are better than him are pretty much Legends.

Dre, Luda, Face, Stic Man. maybe some others.

after that, he is head and shoulders above the rest. Including Wayne

I can C/S that but he can be better than I expect but to me he tries to be like jay a lil too much for my taste

Dro is better than 95% of the West and 90% of the East, he is the most versatile M.C. of this generation, he can rap, sing, rap-sing, and go bar to bar with the best.

He's street certified, he has his own style, he got songs for the brauds and songs for the brothers, he got street shit, and reflective shit.

he can be humorous or serious, he got ad-libs for days, lyrics, metaphors.

If I could only sign 3 rappers to my label I would sign Young Dro, Emenim, and JayZ.

C/S the bolded

Dude is versatile, can't argue that one.

Red light.

Before i continue reading .. is this an "IMO" statement?

Or something you can prove?

T.I is bearly Top 5 in his own city.

The man had his hand held his WHOLE career.

You didn't back your last post up with anything that you can prove.

I'll make it easy for you. You list your top 5 from the South and I'll break it down for you.

My IMOs are based on facts. The problem with a lotta rap fans is that they wait for the masses to co-sign an

opinion before they vouch for it too.

T.I. barely top 5 in Atlanta, GA??!! What 4 rappers do you place over T.I. from the A? This ought to be good.

Who held T.I.'s hand his entire career when he's a solo artist?

Stop the madness, people. T.I. is one of the top 5 rappers out of the South of ALL TIME. He's the reason why NY cats use the word "Trappin", he took the trap worldwide, hate it or love it.

Album-wise, he has a solid track record and Trap Muzik is widely regarded as a classic album. Rap-beef wise, he put a MAJOR dent in Lil Flipper's career and his "What Up / Whats Happenin"

video is one of the top 5 hardest diss videos ever. So, no way is Yung Dro better than TIP.

I will say that Dro is one of the most original cats that came into the game in a long time. He should be at a level of let's say a Fabolous by now, not exactly top of the game but solid and respectable numbers

each time out. With Grand Hustle, TI is not the final say of what get released or not, they still have to get a budget from the parent company. TI and JG are going where the money is and that's TI albums back-to-back-to-back.

Dro had chances to blow in the past, he was recording with different camps in the past, was in a group w/ Fabo for a minute and did some stuff w/ Rocko, if he was better than TI, the world would've known it.

He's dope enough to have a career and consistent release date but its not as easy as recording a bunch of songs and putting it out when working through a major.

no jeezy took the trap world wide

I don't think that counts since T.I. recorded his verse before Luda did

Young Buck told Luda that TI was dissin him on the song so Luda HEARD TI verse then wrote a response

its not that hard to outdo another rapper on a tracc if youve already heard their verse before youve writtin yours

Luda and TI have already been on two other traccs together and Ti didn't not get outshined by Luda IMO

and to say that TI can't compete wit the South's best rappers is ridiculous

I'm not much of a TIP fan but I recognize his skill every time he touches the mic

and some of the top 5 MC's in the south are overrated to me (Andre 3000)

add T-Rock too

I jus download T-Rock's whole discography not too long ago..... I'm not sure where he's located on the Best MC's in the South list but I know for a fact he somewhere in between Andre 3000 and K-Rino

T-Rock is a beast that is unmatched IMO

Again, opinions mean nothing. Back it up with facts.

T.I. was on his third album before the world even heard of Young Jeezy.

T.I. was bringing the trap even on his In Da Streets mixtape before he blew. Ever heard "Dope Boyz in the Trap"??

To give Jeezy his credit, he created a lil' movement with the Snowman logo but its common knowledge,

that T.I. brought the streets back for Atlanta and Jeezy carried on the torch.

Has Ludacris dropped an album that any of your homies listen to all the way through? Great rapper, but not seen at "that dude" in Atlanta or anywhere else. That's a fact.

Killer Mike over T.I.? - Killer Mike is a DOPE M.C., good enough to be a member of Slaughterhouse and hold his own. Career-wise, he hasn't delivered enough material to measure up w/ T.I.

As a group, Outkast is one of the greatest to ever do it. I cannot put Andre 3000's body-of-work over T.I.'s releases simply because he hasn't delivered a solo rap album. Dre don't even really wanna rap no more.

Big Boi is in the same boat. Member of a great group but T.I. has been a solo artist throughout his career. No way you can compare the two.

Jeezy is the only one of your list that is in the same league with TIP in terms of consistency, impact, and relevance as a solo artist.
