I disagree with that, a complete artist from the South would be Andre 3000 and/or Cee-Lo. They are complete, listen to their music you can hear the artistry

T.I.'s delivery is leaps and bounds ahead of Jeezy. Jeezy just started improving his delivery. When he first came out, his delivery was slow and sloppy. T.I. is just as charismatic as Jeezy its just that his charisma is radiated differently. T.I. rarely puts out mixtapes so of course Trap or Die 2 had more buzz. Most people didnt even know T.I. was going to come out with Fuck a Mixtape

Slow and Sloppy? Listen to the original Trap or Die track, Go Crazy, Soul Survivor etc. He rapped slower back then, but he wasn't sloppy. TI's delivery isn't better cause Jeezy can get away with saying almost anything he wants and make it sound good. That is delivery, especially with what he has to work with. He's not as lyrical as the other current rap heavyweights, but he's cosigned heavily cause his delivery is serious. TI's delivery really shows when he goes off like in "I'm Back", but he still not up with Jeezy's, who can spit on more different paces than TI can and deliver. Trust me, if Jeezy's delivery wasn't so damn good he'd be getting ZERO play/air time. Trap or Die II is a perfect example.How people didn't know? TI had so much publicity before and after he came out of jail, that's when people really pay attention to artist because they anticipate new music. Anyway, forget having more buzz, his tape is harder period and TI had trouble with Jeezy on "No Competition" on his F*ck a Mixtape. I know tracks aren't supposed to be viewed as "who owned who", but it's go hard or go home.

Chicken & Beer, Red Light District, and Theater of The Mind were solid albums all the way through. Ill even ssay Theater of the Mind was a great album. im not buying that Luda cant craft a great album argument. Its just that he is not consistent from album to album

I like Ludacris as a rapper. I don't believe all of his albums are absolute garbage. What I said was "there is something missing that stops him from being the top dawg and delivering classic material. That "something missing" is EXACTLY what TIP has. "

The argument isn't if Luda is wack because he's not. The debate is whether he's colder than TIP. If I gave both TIP and Luda 16 bars to get busy, Luda is gonna kill it 8 out of 10 times. What Luda lacks is the substance that makes fans buy into a rapper.

That substance is what makes rappers like Boosie, Gucci, Dre 3 Stacks, Nas so loved and respected by their fanbase, yet people who aren't their fans can't understand why. People CARE when these guys have an album coming and anticipate it.

Ludacris' albums are not highly anticipated. A week after they drop, people go on about their regular lives. It's not "an event".

Basically, no one cares.

IMO Dro is a good rapper, I just dont think he takes it that serious. If he gave it 100% as Tip does I think he could surpass him. But for now T.I. is the better rapper. I've never thought Luda was that great at all. His music really isnt abt shit IMO but the same old same old and he really isnt that interesting on the mic, IMO he's better off doin RADIO or Movies.
