Thats 10 with several more i can add. It was crazy as hell to challenge Timbaland contribution to Hip Hop. The proof is right there top 10 HIP HOP producer!!!

I would like to know why he doesn't belong, but yet producers like Just Blaze make the list and he hasn't even entirely produced a Hip Hop album let alone classic. If it's an issue of catalog, there's 2-3 producers that consistently show up in top 5's that have only contributed to classic albums let alone produced entire albums that rank up in the echelon of the albums that they contributed production to. Dre, RZA, Bomb Squad, Rick Rubin, Marley Marl have credits as sole producers of classic albums. Other acclaimed producers are mostly present in Top 10 lists for contributions on Illmatic, Ready To Die, Reasonable Doubt, and other classic debuts from the 90's. Some would argue that those producers are Top 5 material solely for the contributions to those albums alone which is a discredit to Large Professor, Easy Mo Bee, and Ski all of whom contributed as much if not more to those albums than the producers that people give more credit to.

Timbaland has laced several Hip Hop albums entirely. He hasn't produced an album that's on the caliber of Only Built 4 Cuban Linx, 36 Chambers, The Chronic, or It Takes A Nation, but sonically, his sound has been just as revolutionary as any of those producers. The only discredit to Timbaland is catalog. You would get few if any complaints about Tim's production on any album he's produced. If anything, it would be complaints about why he gave such and such a beat that dope. Timbaland isn't Top 5, but very well deserving of a Top 10 spot.

Honestly, are the tracks he produced for them some of the best of that respective rapper's career?

Meaning if a MC works with Timbaland he will no doubt receive a banger that will be listed as one of his best tracks ever

True, Just hasnt laced a whole album yet but he has crafted some of the Greatest hiphop beats. His catalogue is immaculate. Just body of work is jus full of Classics especially his work wit ROC Artistes. He can lace you wit a club joint "oh boy", introspective joint " some how some way", Street banger "Breathe", slow melodic songs "Soon youll understand". Nuthn Timbo wil ever make wil touch Just discography in Hiphop. If its Pop then Timbo is definately better than Just.

It can also be argued that Timbaland has crafted some of Hip Hop's greatest beats. Timbaland has a wealth of followers who bit his style or incorporated his sound into theirs just ask Bangladesh, Polow Da Don, Danja,and Scott Storch. Mannie Fresh has Timbaland in his Top 5. I don't think Timbaland is better than Dre, but even Dr. Dre has sprinkled a little Timbo into his beats i.e. Jay Z's "Trouble", Eminem's "Taking My Ball". The tracks that Tim did for Jay Z are likely to come into a discussion of best or favorite Jay Z songs. You're going to get a different list from different people. Some might not have Timbaland tracks listed on it at all. Some might have a lot of Timbo tracks. Some just a few. Of course, Timbo's tracks are going to be abundant on the list of artists he's worked extensively with just as it would with any other producer.

he influenced a lot of the top hip hop producers,even the known ones.danja of course,he was timbalands protege.I remember hearing that just blaze beat tell me and I thought tim produced it.polows runaway love sounds exactly like a timbaland beat.and when i heard fabs this is my party back in 03 you couldn't tell me that wasn't a timbaland beat.

I rather listen to timbo's beats than rzas or premo.it's just a personal preference.im not saying premo or rza is wack,but I've listen to a few songs they produced.some beats were fire but it didn't make me wanna listen to the rest of their catalogue.
timbaland is a better overall producer than kanye,though I like ye more.and dre is on another level
all 3 are in my top 5
