Jay never had a buzz...y'all just got hit wit some real hiphop spirit, thought dude was gonna pop, nigga dipped himself in that badu(everybody changes after that), bamboozled the chessecake man, dumpped Justin blaze, joined the illuminati, and moved to ROC Nation(wherever that is).....April fools on you hoes, I play tricks.

lol you sound like b cotton when hes talking about lil wayne. Dont get me wrong i am a HUGE Jay Electronica fan but I am going to have to see a FULL album to belive it. He has had amazing individual records but he needs to prove that he can make an album.

I can make a thunderstorm out a light rain....I think he's a great artist, but his buzz is all hype.
He's pulling a great trick. Either the crowd he has now is gonna buy his album or they will move on.
He's not going to pull a crossover or drag children to the light.
He never had a buzz people who seek real music just found a taste of hiphop that got us excited and he has till July to produce or it will just be all his Internet fans buying his shit or no one will care at all.

im cbuying 2 copies

jay electronica is that dude and i feel his music. his persona in his music comes off as someone thats like family,
i dont care if his shit flop cause it was never meant to be mainstream in the first place

and i dont want the album to come soon
i want it to take 3 years to make
it take him 9 months+ to release a song or two. i dont want 12+ songs in under a year from him

Jay seems like he's a perfectionist b/c he takes so long to drop material

He could end up being like Da Ranjahz, Diamonds In Da Rough, Geda K, etc and never drop under Jay's label or he could be like a Beanie Sigel and drop some quality albums

JE is nice, but he is easily the top 5 laziest niggas in the game. I mean, he's not even crazy nice to the point where he can get away with that. By the time he came out with a handful of songs, a nigga liike Saigon put out full mixtapes and an album. I know he's a perfectionist, but damn, how you announce a release date for a snippet? Some of us prolly have more plat threads than he has songs... real talk

He can rap but i'm not a 5%er so yeah. If he come out I may listen but yeah its alot good shit coming out right now so he really isn't needed . He off in africa recording his album or something.
