jay electronica is that dude and i feel his music. his persona in his music comes off as someone thats like family,
i dont care if his shit flop cause it was never meant to be mainstream in the first place

and i dont want the album to come soon
i want it to take 3 years to make
it take him 9 months+ to release a song or two. i dont want 12+ songs in under a year from him

He could end up being like Da Ranjahz, Diamonds In Da Rough, Geda K, etc and never drop under Jay's label or he could be like a Beanie Sigel and drop some quality albums

JE is nice, but he is easily the top 5 laziest niggas in the game. I mean, he's not even crazy nice to the point where he can get away with that. By the time he came out with a handful of songs, a nigga liike Saigon put out full mixtapes and an album. I know he's a perfectionist, but damn, how you announce a release date for a snippet?
