Oh, yea. Em got 5 classics. Infinite, SSLP, MMLP, TES, & Relapse.

Relapse isn't a classic

Infinite, The Slim Shady LP, The Marshall Mathers LP & The Eminem Show were very much critically acclaimed as classics you ask anyone who is a Music fan and the majority will say they are classics and we know how much they sold and how highly they were rated by the industry as far as Award's and impact

I agree with you on this one. I this this is a classic. People will hate on Shady all day. I also would say MMLP is a classic as well.

I agree.

I've never heard anyone say Relapse is a classic, though.

I guess there's a first time for everything.

IMO , eminem doesn't have a "classic" album, but all his albums are "solid" and he has "classic" songs like .. the way i am, cleaning out my closet, stan, mockingbird, toy soilder, beautiful, lose yourself, my name is ect .. with that being said, eminem is the second greatest mc of all times behind 2pac, Eminem was able to do something that most people would think is impossible which is having people take a white rapper serious, not only did eminem master that hes also in danm near everyones top five dead or alive , as a person i can only respect that.

To tell you the truth I haven't been an Em fan in a while, i don't give a shit how dope he is lyrically or not relapse annoyed the shit outta me... your the only whiteboy that made any type of movement with hip hop and you start doing that gay voice shit fucked up your chance to be one of the greatest. I personally think even when he doesn't do the voice he still fell off. but I would say if you don't think he doesn't have any your bugging... the entire layout of the MMLP was better then about 90 percent of the albums i've ever heard of all types of music.

and If anyone is gonna mention any one song from em to say is classic it's Sing For The Moment. You'll never hear an emcee Explain Music/hip hop/america (white and black) ever again.

also i have yet to hear someone outshine em on a track

i wont even mention battles (you'll say he's never battled any greats) and i'll reply with name one stupid enough to go at him. you haven't seem them doing it anyways, and for the picking on boy bands and picking on girls and shit isn't him being scared to mention anyone that can diss him back, it's him making fun of what's wrong with america

The MMLP is a classic whther or not the people on this board accept that or not......Its one thing to have a hit record that comes and goes, but that album still sells like crazy by catolouge 10 years later........It came out in 2000 and got certified diamond in 07..........Not many records have those kind of legs, in any genre

TES and SSLP are debatable, you'll find just as many people who say yes, as say no........But the MMLP cant be argued with, IMO........

That corny chump started crying when the Source refused to give them overrated pieces of trash 5 mics.

I remember that shit....lol @ Eminem thinking MMLP was five mic worthy. Fuck outta here, that drag queen should be happy it received 4 mics.

LMAO! @ Lil Kim receiving a 5 mic rating and not Eminem.

If Em's manager was sleeping with the owner of the Source, I'm sure he would've got five mics, too.

It should have gotten 5 Mics, and Em didnt say anything until Benzino started crying........And that lil kim naked truth gettin 5 mics speaks volumes for the sources credibility

The fact still remains....the chick got a 5 mic score and Eminem did not, and never will (if the Source is still even in business). lol

I won't lie, MMLP is his best album to date, but calling it a "classic" and deserving of 5 mics is fucking ridiculous in my honest opinion.

Shit, I could go in a studio and rant about a bunch of pop stars over a beat, too. I guess niggas would call my shit a "classic" as well.

I aint saying you have to like it, but just cause you dont doesnt make it any less of a classic.......That tape still sells crazy by catolouge, its one thing to have a hit record in 2000 that everybody forgets by 2003(like Nelly's Country grammer for instance).......Its another for people to discover it a decade later, that doesnt happen very often for any record in any genre period.........So, it made its mark, and will go down as a classic regardless

What you typed up sounds like complete hogwash to me, but whatever helps you sleep at night, fam....sounds like you're using "sales" and a "hit" as a measuring stick for your argument. I don't think MMLP stood the test of time. That shit was more like a summer of 2000 fad. lol Nelly's sophomore album had a better run than MMLP....I guess that's a classic since it sold like crazy and had a hit as well. You Shady Bunch fanatics make me laugh.

I aint make the shit up, its the truth.......I read it back when they certified MMLP diamond in 2008.......last year it was at 10.2 or summin........

And not very many albums have those kind of legs, unless your talkin legends throughout the ages.........

And you dont have to think it stood the test of time, other people do, and the numbers reflect that

Its not all about sales........Vanilla Ice sold 7 Mill..........But that was all at once and then it faded away.......When people go back and rediscover summin, thats how you know the classics........Like Nas's Illmatic, it didnt get certified platinum until 03.........it is what it is, No hating, just speaking on it.......

Honestly, there's no point in debating with you, fam ...It's really pointless. I don't think your sorry excuse of an argument holds no weight and you probably think the same of mine...like you said, it's all opinions but I was around and old enough to witness the MMLP hype (not assuming you weren't). From what I witnessed, it didn't have staying power...plain and simple. And what's ironic is, he bitches about the downfall about mainstream music and how much it sucks on that album, yet later on he's part of the problem. lol

Not only does he not possess a universal classic, he's a fucking hypocrite as well. Que sera sera
