Does anyone think Carter III is a classic???

Imo it's an enjoyable album, but since it's hiphop we're talking about, it needs to be more than enjoyable to be classic. I give it a 3 outta 5.

carter 1 was better than 2 and 3 matter fact it goes in that order carter 1 was the wayne EVERYBODY loved it wasnt that pop shit it wasnt geared toward mainstream it was well put together manny did his thing on the beats and wayne came with it damn near every track, carter 2 i had to skip around to lke it but i liked it carter 3 was just a whole bunch of features like a mediocre mixtape i only started playin it regular when people would get in the car with me and ask me to put that in, the album really aint flow too good it was more like he was showin he could rap on different producers beats and make it sound good the features were good for the most part ms officer got on my nerves though and that song with babyface sounded like they did the song then recorded on tape then dubbed it on a cd

I co-sign about 50% of this ..

I just dont see how Carter is better then Carter 2, tho ..

Wayne's maturity and flow between both albums is extremely noticeable.

But the bolded is dead on, IMO .

based on what the hype of the album it should've been. Shit i thought the album was dope. Imo it was his best one yet. it shouldve gotten 4.5/5 mics or close to classic.... Imo the only song that kept it away from 5 mic territory was that babyface joint.



i think c4 will be that classic tho....

I was expecting a lot more from C3. I wish he would just re-make Lilweezyana, that was his best work IMO. That DJ (Raj Smoove or something?) was nice.
