Not even close to bein a Ross fan, but i have slot of respect for how he rose out of his situation, his ceo skills, makes some bangers i mess wit, he even seem like a cool dude based on his interviews.

When you think about it tho, not to derail the thread, it is crazy how those racist tapes by em was swept under the rug and the CO thing wit Ross was highly publicized. You ask me, i think its a miracle that both of them made it out of their situations cuz if it were the 90s, in risk of sounding nostalgic, neither would still have a career.

I want it to but I don't think it will. I'm not feeling any song I've heard from it except the 3 kings & that's just "okay" jay saved it. Only hot songs I know for sure are triple beam dreams & rich forever but those are bonus tracks. His singles been ass IMO kinda nervous but I'll know whether or not I'm copping within the next couple days when it leaks.

Yeah i feel the same way. In startin to think when khaled and then was hypin how album up as a classic, they was probably talkin about the tracks on rich forever. Slot of those songs could've been saved for his album.

All my favorites and Top 20 are Brothers & Sisters from my own culture and community.

Ross makes good music and gets respect from the streets and the industry so his teenage employment history is less important to me than the number of Blacks and Latinos that are under his current employment as an adult.

Side-Note: I don't have a problem with C.O's because I come from the same environment that all these rappers who don't have a problem with C.O's do, I been imprisoned and had the C.O.'s from my community make my stay a luxury.

I have a problem with white racists who shit on Black women and rape Black culture and infuse their sick homosexual norms into HipHop culture and have it swept under the rug because white-skinned men in suits have the power.

either stopped fuckin' with him because of it or just got over it. Ross didn't dead that shit as soon as it was leaked

that he was a co. If he would have said "Yeah it was me, so the fuck what?" from the jump, shit would have died

And as far as the thread topic, I fucks with Ross' music, but I can't say he's my favorite.

yeah hes made smart moves like you mentioned above. Meeks mixtape gets double the play that the last ross mixtape got earlier this year. And Amen gets more play in clubs and in peoples whips than any ross single for GFID. But again ross put himself in a position so that he didn't have to compete with his crew on some game vs. 50 cent type shit. Rozays Managerial and Marketing schemes have been brilliant. I mean the nigga is a former C.O. that makes music for the streets and the hood lets it slide. You have to be a genius to get away with that.

I never got the appeal of listening to rappers because of a lifestyle they lead before/during making rap their career. Seems like something only suburban white kids care about.
