Floyd's a great fighter and all, but he fights at 147 or sumthin? That's like how big I was in middle school. Sometimes I forget how small he is, cuz he's fightin another guy just as small. But Floyd's small enough that if he got disrespectful I'd consider fightin him (may not turn out good for me, but whatever). Don't you miss seein heavyweights fighting...2 big bastards tryna knock each other's heads off?

I'm late. But a/the biggest problem with boxing (namely, the heavyweight division) is that the heavyweights are too big now. The 70s had some relatively big heavyweights, but not like today.

Back then, cruiserweights like Dempsey and Marciano were legitimate heavys, and the division, which will always be the biggest stage in boxing, was a lot more fun. We need a superheavyweight division to siphon off the overgrown, slow giants from the more versatile giants.

The smaller divisions are fine. They just need to stick to their damn natural weights.

This video came out way back when the thread was goin. But sayin "case closed" makes me laugh. You realize in that video they square off, then we see a guy come try to sucker punch the football player. Football player realizes he may be bout to get jumped and runs off. Then we see NOTHING til he's laid on the ground with someone stompin on him. Then we see another dude (not Huerta) screaming at the dude to get up and he'll fuck him up.

Know what we never saw? How he got knocked out. I'm not sayin it's impossible Huerta knocked him out. But it is lookin likely dude got jumped. So case closed? haha, hell no.

You're missing The point. That's a weak ass video to prove anything. You never see how dude gets KO'd. He could have gotten sucker punched (like one dude in the video tried to do). He also may have been drunk and sloppy ( since he hit a bitch in public). I'm not saying Huerta didn't handle him. But there's nothing showing he did or how he did it.

Haha, no thanks. When I made this I think it was because when heavyweights ran stuff, you were watching the baddest mother fucker on the planet. No one wanted to fuck with Tyson. No one knew anyone that wanted to fuck with Tyson. No one heard legends of a boxer from an African jungle that wanted to fuck with Tyson. But Floyd being small, combined with the emergence of MMA, makes him not give off that feeling of watching a true monster.
