the case in the pic is different, because most likely, everyone or nearly everyone is poor in that country. being poor in somalia which hasn't had a functioning government since 1991, is quite a different situation from poor in the west.

and obviously this is something out of their control in 3rd world countries with abject poverty, the causes and solutions to their poverty are much different from the causes and solutions to poverty in developed countries

There's more than industry jobs.

Be an entrepreneur, everyone can be one. There's a lot of different ways to make money than going to a factory and doing your 9-5.

give me some examples.

Selling shit on ebay/Craig's list, yard sales aren't even necessary anymore.

Collecting recyclables.

Selling things you make.

Sperm or plasma.

Trading.

Building up old things, reselling them.

Blogging.

YouTube.

Building or running websites.

There's always a way.
