what poor decisions does an infant make to be born into a family in a cycle of generational poverty?

The couple has made the poor decision to do that, not the child.

But yet the child will be raised by the poor parents that make poor decisions and the cycle of poorness will continue.

So does that child deserve to be poor?

until the child is at the age of reason to get a job, it is not his/her fault at all.

But the poor child raised by poor parents should be expected to make it big, although everything since birth trained him to be poor??

It could and does happen, but it's not realistic to expect that to be the outcome.

Sometimes they're content w that kind of life, I've seen it before. If they're not though, they can do something to come up from that. Like what? Whatever they can do, however they can do it.

If they're tired of being poor but yet do nothing about it, is it then a choice that they're making?

If one does something to better their situation, isn't it a choice they've made to come out of that situation?

If one does nothing to better their situation, isn't it a choice they've made to stay in that situation?

There's more than industry jobs.

Be an entrepreneur, everyone can be one. There's a lot of different ways to make money than going to a factory and doing your 9-5.

give me some examples.

Selling shit on ebay/Craig's list, yard sales aren't even necessary anymore.

Collecting recyclables.

Selling things you make.

Sperm or plasma.

Trading.

Building up old things, reselling them.

Blogging.

YouTube.

Building or running websites.

There's always a way.

I spoke to a few people I knew growing up who said they love their lives and don't want anything more than what they had. They were happy, proud and lived life the way they felt it was supposed to be lived.

I seen an interview w a bum who said being able to life stress free from the worries of money, jobs and bills was awesome. That being able to see the world without money was amazing.

You cannot say all poor or homeless people are miserable. Some actually enjoy it.

I was trained to be a lot of things growing up, though i am nothing like the rest of my family...and i am 26 doing better than EVERYONE in my family.

The same excuses my fam makes about their situations are being made in this thread.

I was poor at one point in life not place to live all 4 of us mom ,me two twin bothers living in a 2 bedroom room in my grandma house.

Not going to brag cuz my money did not pay for it but now i live in a gated big house around whole bunch of happy white ppl.
