Being poor in the US is a mainly a choice. There is those who cannot help but be poor, but you can make it.

Blacks and Latinos are the hardest working people in this country...they are also the poorest but Black people in this topic claim niggas are lazy and don't wanna work (same shit white folks said but if a white man said it he would be racist).

The majority of people who aren't poor are a check away from poverty, but they don't hear me though. The system is stacked, niggas know this too, but *shrugs* its more comfortable to blame the victim that tackle the problem.

what if your child grow up and have a gambling problem, or some form of addiction, or they cant keep from going out and living beyond their means? would u leave them as much money as your other child who has a family and is trying to put their kids...your grandchildren...thru school?

Sure have. I was on Medicaid and WIC throughout my pregnancy and I received food stamps for the first year after I had my baby. Once I found a job I no longer qualified and haven't been on any type of government assistance since then.
