Considering his debut EP that dropped on Def Jam and Featured Diddy, 50 Cent, Rick Ross, Meek Mill, Pharell, Young Jeezy, French Montana and Tyler the Creator did 8,900 units (AKA Kreyshwan Numbas) I will say no.

Remember this was a mixtape that came out March 2011, so I'm not surprised it it didn't sell. I hate when rappers try to make an ep of mixtape they already dropped.

Overall I don't see Pusha doing Kendrick numbers.

I like pusha t. I'm rooting for him cause i love the clipse work and been following them since lord willin but probably not. I remember rushing home after work to download that fear of god mixtape when it dropped and being disappointed as hell. I think the only song that stayed on my iPod from that tape was my god. I hope he blows and you'll never know

Ever since Tity Boi blew up and became the hottest nigga in the game I don't put anything past anybody when it comes to the rap game anymore

blow up? define this term...

Have these new rappers type success (K Dot, J Cole, Big Sean, etc)

This nigga....

You gotta be kidding me, if you added up all the sales of the aforementioned they couldn't fuck with The Clipse. They've dropped excellent albums and are one of the most respected groups in the game (they helped show there was more to VA than niggas & broads who dress funny and produce). Sales aren't everything. We got guys like Rakim, Ultramagnetic MCs, Warren G, The D.O.C, etc. who never went plat but their influence was real. UGK for ex. never went platinum but the effect they had on Houston supersedes trying to be "relevant" to impress hipster bitches and niggas by trying to sell a million records.

Quoted for emphasis. Ether granted.

Rakim did go platinum.

I bought his last album. It's kinda slept on.

He has all the elements. He just needs to be consistent throughout. And I mean, themes, lyricism, production & subject matter.

The quality of his material isn't consistent or cohesive.

It'll be an L if he doesn't. Kanye has set him up for success, doing damn near everything except put out a collab album with him. I mean since Pusha signed to GOOD he's pretty much been Ye's right hand man. He was on 2 singles for MBDTF, a good amount of the Good Friday songs, and was on easily some of the best songs on Cruel Summer. If he can't sell a couple 100k in a full year then I'll consider it a commercial flop.

I'm more concerned about quality than sales though. If Pusha can drop verses like he has been and make great full songs then I'll be pleased. YUH!
