You gotta be kidding me, if you added up all the sales of the aforementioned they couldn't fuck with The Clipse. They've dropped excellent albums and are one of the most respected groups in the game (they helped show there was more to VA than niggas & broads who dress funny and produce). Sales aren't everything. We got guys like Rakim, Ultramagnetic MCs, Warren G, The D.O.C, etc. who never went plat but their influence was real. UGK for ex. never went platinum but the effect they had on Houston supersedes trying to be "relevant" to impress hipster bitches and niggas by trying to sell a million records.

LOL at emotional ass niggas, let me hit you with some facts. The is about Pusha T, not The Clipse. The Clipse has only ever had 1 album that has sold above 500k ever, and that's Lord Willin (went platinum), they've been commercially failing since.

Well cool, not none of those niggas you just listed have made the impact of what Pac, Big,Jay,Nas,etc have made and it's because they've had the sales and catalog to back it up.

I can name more great genre changing rappers who have gone platinum more than i can rappers who didn't go platinum or gold.

Pusha probably has blown up as much as he's going to. Probably will drop a dope album, but his commercial peak was probably 10 years ago.
