No. I think Humans are a revolving species and not an evolving species. If we are evolving, I wouldn't know how....honestly.

It seems our Technology is evolving but we've lost information on how to duplicate past structures and technologies,so what has been achieved other then the success of forming a new structure.

Thats not evolution, thats just creating something different.

every generation just adds on to what the past generation has already accomplished. But thats not evolution either, thats just contributing.

So I don't really see how evolution has taken place. I see how things have changed from generation to generation, i've also seen the different contributions, but I havent seen anything evolve.

The only thing I've seen truly evolve is computers and how we use them.

I dont go for that we were monkeys shit either, and I'm not with the invisible ancestor theory. So people have been pretty much the same. Some big, some small, some smart, some stupid. Some Hetero some Homo, Some followers, some leaders, some musicians, some warriors, some doctors, some athletes, some lazy , some active.....same shit man. From Ancient time to now.

Newest and most effective contribution has been electricity and computers. BUt us, Animals, and Plants, pretty much the same. And the jellyfish is still Immortal or is it the starfish.....

I have an example. Alot of people would like to think they are oh so intelligent because they can form a sentence....but honestly compare yourself to the average man or woman who lived maybe 1,000 years ago.

Your average successful person today probably has an office job or something in the medical field. This person probably goes to work in a air conditioned space with a clead restroom somewhere near, and maybe a cafeteria and different choices of food from around the world.

While somebody 1000 years ago, probably did work like Cutting stone, Chopping trees, beating metal into shapes, taming large wild animals, making weapons and tools by hand,farming, as well as tending to workers/empoyees.

The women made clothes, weaves, wigs, and who knows what else.....

I'm really not sure how we've evolved. Everybody can't take credit for the few people who helped develope the internet.

How much smarter are we then are ancestors?

What makes you that much more advanced than someone who lived 2 to 5 generations back in your family ?

But more and more, I'm beginning to believe that the spectrum of human intelligence includes a lot of people who seem normal but are effectively retarded. Edwardnigma, Damobb2deep, Pupu Iz Dro... These characters are able to form somewhat coherent thoughts, but it doesn't look like they can grasp concepts that weren't spoon fed to them since childhood. Just look at the stupid ass things they're saying in this thread and in plenty others. They're sort of retarded. Not completely retarded. Just to some degree. You can answer each of their questions, you can provide them with material to read, you can show them piece by piece where their reasoning is flawed. But they will not learn.

My theory is.....we as people revolve. Meaning we arent heading towards some grand scheme....we're jsut adjusting to the times, where we might find different trends come and go, then return. For instance, early Africans, thousands of years ago, let their hair lock up.......nowadays dreads are verywhere, but there was a time when this style was forgotten.

Yet and still as individuals. I think ancient people had way more knowledge as indiiduals then we had. As a matter of fact, I'll go a step further and say that the average person had better memory without all these computers and calculators as well.

So again no, on the evolution theory.
