Cars toppled off bridges and fell into waters underneath.

The 7.9-magnitude quake was 373 kilometers (231 miles) from Tokyo, the United States Geological Survey said.

It triggered a tsunami warning for various countries, including Japan and Russia, the National Weather Service said.

"Based on all available data a tsunami may have been generated by this earthquake that could be destructive on coastal areas even far from the epicenter," forecasters said.

"An investigation is under way to determine if there is a tsunami threat to Hawaii."

Ya I been watching it too B. Their saying the Tsunami effect has just hit the Hawaii coast. And all this shit has happened through out time the difference is now with the internet we know in seconds about every big or strange occurrence. And just to play devils advocate Japan is something like over 50 % atheist/agnostic/non religion has this played a roll to you religious folks?
