I thought it was unrealistic when Schultz clapped Candie. He's supposed to be the calm one and then he goes and shoots dude. Seemed like they just wanted an excuse to squeeze in some more gun fights

He is Leonardo DiCaprio's right hand, an old house nigger plays a pivotal part of the movie. People like this character did exist during slavery, so I had no problem with it.

His character showed no matter how hight up he was he was or smart he was still a slave .

Uncle Ruckus cats did and do exist but the way they handle these types of characters seems solely as a way for white people to laugh at racist jokes and not feel guilty about it because the character saying them is black.
