I'm actually not a big QT fan. There are some abrupt deaths that you have to expect from QT, he has them in all his movies, its just his style of violence. But I really thought this was an awesome movie, and the soundtrack was also awesome.

It was better than Inglorious Bastards. Easily.

The Django theme song at the beginning was very good. But the rest of the film was him basically ripping off Ennio Morricone songs and that Rick Ross track to me was so out of place. I did like that one scene with the 2pac lyrics though.

It was a solid movie, could have benefit of being shorter movie, some scenes/characters were unnecessary like dogs eating up the runaway slave, or Female axe Ninja. KKK scene was probably the funniest scene and Jamie in that blue outfit. I thought he would be on some Catcher Freeman type shit, so that was kind of disappointing.
