Jeffrey Wright in Shaft had me fooled for the longest.

I really thought dude was some Dominican actor I never heard of.

Jeffrey Wright is an exellent actor. I've seen him play a very broad spectrum of characters. He even played MLK JR.very well. He's very underrated.

Romance didn't enter the movie until the last 30 minutes and even then it was overshadowed by the excessive violence.
