I can co-sign this to an extent ..

I'm a big Nas fan but DR (which is near Classic) just isn't all that to me..

Dont get me wrong, its arguably the best album of '10 (i have it #2 behind Chico Dusty)

But i think the album gets boring if you play it too often..

boring? U serious??

I never get tired playin it.

Afrika must wake up

patience

distant relatives was a good album but a lil overrated imo, i may be in the minority but i dont think nas and damian marley have great chemistry.

I agree with the bolded.

I think the album offered a lot content wise and I defnitely hear parallels between Miseducation and Distant Relatives, but since Miseducation, I think there may be a couple of releases that are better musically. One of them being Aquemini.

Very .. and like i said, no hate at all .. 'Patience' have been my alarm clock song since DR dropped...

Its a 5/5 album..

I'm just saying that it gets boring if you spin it all day like that.

Oh, and the bolded song sucks ass .. i cant stand how that shit comes on.

I disagree although Distant Relatives was dope as fuck and I love Nas and Damian.

But was I the only one who felt like Lauryn belonged on "In His Own Words" the first time I heard it?? I can hear her all over that track.

Criminally underrated album. It's a work of true dedication and artistry, both musically and lyrically. I wouldn't go that far comparing it to Miss Hill epic work, because unfortunately the album had minimal impact.

die slow for this dumbass comment.

LOL sit your ass down somewhere, Patience is one of the few hot beats on the album, the rest were recycled reggae beats or just bland as fuck. They should of just have made Sly and Robbie produce the whole album.

Scared of what truth? his truth or the REAL truth???

You so ignorant, its right there and you dont see it. I'm going to briefly entertain you. Lets take the track "Africa Must Wake Up". In this song Nas says, and I qoute"they want the whole subject diminished/but Africa is the orign of all the worlds religions." Lets really use our minds and knowledge (if you have any) to disect this statement. Of all the religions on this shit ball of a planet there are 5 top religions. Christianity, Islam, Sikhism, and Buddhism. None of these religions originated from Africa. Christianity began in Isreal. Islam began in Mecca; Where is Mecca everybody?? Saudi Arabia!!! Buddhism, hinduism and the little known Sikhism were all birthed in the Indian parts of the asian continent which was actually describe by whitey as sub-continent the same description they had given Africa. Nas does not know what he speaks of which is utterly embarrassing IF you know better. its a shame that many dont know better, but would take the word of a "rapper" who did not graduate highschool and proclaimed to be "self-educated".

LMAO!
