Lsa is really exposing black females in this ongoing gender war. Black females been showing they ass for a minute now. They aren't thinking about the end game at all.

I went to see it last night, it was a great film. The only thing i didn't really vibe with was how white women were portrayed as bystanders of the antebellum south. That they didn't have any skin in the game and had their own nefarious shit they were up to.

can somebody give me a number they were expecting. i'm serious. ppl keep saying it flopped how sway?

it was projected by fox to do 7-10 million it's doing that.

The girl on the train had a budget of 45 million and it's projected to do 27 million... did it flopped to???

There was 3 total people in the theater when i went.

I checked the other theater across town with reserved seating and NOBODY bought tix.

And a lot more ppl on here are saying the theaters were pretty empty.

Im glad it may break even opening weekend but it could have & should have done much better

Besides some scenes at the end. I didn't like how they made white women out to be "nice" to black people. That was complete bullshit.

It's crazy how some black women are caping for a white woman but white women would never throw on the Cape for a black woman being sexually assaulted or being a rape victim. Some Lipstickalley posters have a strong disdain for black men ,definitely if that black man is dating or married to a white woman.

Seen it last night

Rape controversy aside, i wanted to support a Blk film and honor nat turners memory...

Along with me and my bf, there were probably like 4 other blk couples and a older white couple in the theater

Didn't know what to think about the random scene with blood coming from the corn

But otherwise great film, especially for a first time director

Had to turn away during the force feeding scene

While white women suffered under the weight of the same patriarchal authority to which slaves were subjected

Just think of how the son inherited his father's property and the plantation after his death...though his mother was still alive and well

White women still had the freedom to vent their fury, albeit on the only people to whom they were superior... Blk ppl

And even with BoN it bothered me a lot seeing white woman seperate young Nat from his mother...only so she could teach him how to parrot the bible and parade him around like a well behaved dog

But yea I think 12 years a slave did a better job showing how white women we rent just bystanders but complicit participants

What movie were y'all watching?

The only nice wht woman, was the lady who taught Nat how to read, and even then, the movie showed how complicit she was in wht supremacy.

Oh ok

I figured it had some meaning I wasn't privy to

Just came back from watching it. Its a good movie. I'm still in disbelief that people aren't going to see it. Coming up as a youth we talk about nat turner and why hasn't a movie been made yet but now its here and it gets done like this

Definitely the hardest scene to watch.

Movie was powerful though, my wife cried a lot towards the end; but i found myself more angry than sad.

Its a must see if you ask me.

You know what's funn, I aint ever seen white women cape for actual black rape victims the way I seen black women cape for this one fake ass white bitch.

You remember white women caping for the black striper who accused the duke players of rape? Nope

What about that half white half asian cop who raped 13 women? White women cape for black women and crucify this nigga? Nope.

But you can put BW on a platform and she'll do what she's been doing for the past 30 years, shit all over niggas. It aint even about the white girl, not the fake ass rape victim anyway.

BW will take the issues they have with BM in real life and use them to tank a movie that EVERY black person been waiting to see for ever and a day.

Fuck these hoes they stay on some double agent shit.

While agree with most of this.....thier were plenty of white women who came to the defense of the black stripper....just watch the documentary Fantastic Lies
