It looked pretty good in the previews.

I might try to convince the old lady but she always claims she is "tired of seeing slave movies".

Is this really a good movie or are people just saying it's good because it's black? Me and wifey got a date night coming up. I'm not typically into this type of movie, but I'll support if it's good.

I'm still mad that the shit even became a focus only coincidentally right before his movie is supposed to come out. This nigga has been legally free of this situation for at least a decade, and people are trying to drag him for it and and shame him and its irrelevant to what he's trying to do, which is promote his movie. If I were him I'd be on edge, too.

Exactly. I don't remember hearing shit about rape when Beyond the Lights came out.

Starts off slow, but half way point till the end is pure GOATness.

The movie was fuego. Dont listen to these critics. But i will say this, if you've seen Goodbye Uncle Tom, this is nothing compared to that in terms of brutality. I still wouldnt bring young children tho.

Just finished watching it.

When you compare the two, goodbye uncle Tom is more graphic with it.

It's a good movie that should be seen.

I saw it earlier, it was a great movie.... it started off slow but when it picked up it was the business.

When i left the theathre i aint speak for 5-6 nyc blocks. my new york ppl know what i mean. I was feeling a certain type of way i couldn't understand, or explain it.

Shout Out to Nate Parker. I wonder where he go from here.

Uncle Tom Cabin was a great depiction of slavery. There was no main characters it was about the day to day of slavery. This movie was about Nat Turner..

Yaaaaawwwwnnnn... the movie is doing just fine. For all those who say this movie is flopping, what are the figures y'all expected?

It cost 10 mill to make, was brought for 17... how much did y'all expect? Avengers numbers?

Don't you love that tactic? When people try to rip something by setting unrealistic expectations for it and then bash it for not meeting those stupid expectations.

can somebody give me a number they were expecting. i'm serious. ppl keep saying it flopped how sway?

it was projected by fox to do 7-10 million it's doing that.

The girl on the train had a budget of 45 million and it's projected to do 27 million... did it flopped to???
