The people in the poor communitites who felt like they needed uplifting, we're uplifted. By getting out there and gettin some of this money that's out here. Instead of waiting for a Birdman or Jay-Z or 50 Cent to come through and be the hood's financial hero.

See yall niggas got it fucked up cuz i dont think nobody should sit around and wait for another dude to be their Fairy Godfather. But these niggas came up off these hoods thats fucked up and if it wasnt for them same hoods that niggas saying they dont owe anything to we wouldnt even know these niggas.

New Orleans hoods are what brought all those early CMR releases. B.G. first four albums are what got him that distribution deal. Who even knew about B.G. other then basically his hood back then?

Thats the reason most of these rap niggas make it big then get dis-owned by the same neighborhoods that they grew up in their whole life. You dont have to be a M.C. Hammer ass nigga but if im from UPT and im sitting around watching you on tv talking about half a million dollar watches yet our hood is fucked up, yeah ima look at a nigga kinda side ways.

He dont owe me nothing cuz i aint grow up wit that nigga. But it's only right to give back to his city cuz they held him down at the beginning.

So in your mind every body in the hood can come up like they did by one way or another?? GTFOH. People kill me using 1 persons success as means to justify their thinking that everyone else can do the same or similar if they try. 50 Cent, Jay-Z, etc are blessed/lucky folk who with a bit of their own effort made it. I know 100s of people who can rap, produce etc that will never get a break and thats why I say instead of Birdman being so foolish with his $$ he should be making as many opportunities for others to come up as possible. He can still splurge, but 5 million dollars can help a whole lot of people get a colllege degree, job training, homes, start businesses, etc. It's not his responsibility, but don't justify his ridiculousness by saying everybody in the hood can come up by just "getting out there & getting some of this $ that's out here." That's as foolish as telling someone they can be anything that they want to be!!

are yall niggas really arguing over another nigga life? if he wants to buy the car let em. you cant save everybody in the community. if he goes broke due to these idiotic investments let em. hes just livin life right now. even if birdman takes all that money and builds a city for the homeless, do you think they goin keep it up? or is that his job as well?

all you niggas complaining about birdman best be out there helpin the community as we speak. you dont need millions to make a difference
Typical small view of black folk (if he wants to buy blah, blah, blah with his money...). The community helped this nigga come up. If folk weren't supporting his shit (supporting mainly his artists that he was ripping off) he wouldn't be where he's at so to give back in a real way is not a requirement, but should not be unexpected either. There are so many people in the hood with potential, but no guidance nor resources. 9 million dollars if used properly could provide a lot of guidance and resources to a lot of people in the hood so that they could make a better life for themselves. I mean when does he grow up and quit trying to prove shit to people. Nigga we know your rich, but your not wealthy and you need to understand that their were niggaz before you that had it all and lost it!!

Even if Weezy made 20 mil last year, I think Baby and Slim should still pay off his tax bills.

They basically owe Weezy for saving Cash Money.

Who knows if Weezy really made $20 mil, that's just a Forbes estimate of what Wayne should've made

No one really knows what Weezy really kept of how much Baby and Slim take.

I'd be pissed if I had a $12 million tax debt and I saw my "pops" buying a $8 million car
You have a point here. Even though it's Wayne's own debt to see the nigga who's actually living big off of his talent & work has to at some point piss him off. I mean the nigga blew 10 mil in cars over the last 4 months while Wayne's tax bill is steadily increasing. Wayne is Cash Money and if he leaves it won't be long before Baby and all of his materialistic bullshit will go too.

Of course everybody can't come up. Cause most people who remain in the hood are there cause they lazy and have no goals. Talent has nothing to do with it. You know why niggas like Soulja Boy got money? It sure ain't cause the nigga can rap. It's because he worked. He understood what hard work can get him. And you can be anything you want to be. Anyone who uses that phrase knows that everybody won't be what they want to be because everybody ain't gone push themselves to be that. That phrase is used to put it in folks minds that it's out there if you want it. Naw, everybody might not come up like Baby, and have $8 million to blow on a car, but they can put in enough work to not be sitting in a project building. A nice car, a nice house in a nice neighborhood is coming up too.

dumb-ass it doesn't matter where it came from really! The point is he's a goddamn fool to put it blountly to keep on trying to impress/compete with people who have way more than he does and their businesses are in way better shape than his. The vast majority of his money comes from music and a very large chunk of that comes from where??? HIS CASHCOW LIL WAYNE!! So in essences income relies very heavily on another person. If Wayne bails he'll still have money, but not the kind that he's been seeing over the last 4-5 years because of Wayne!! So as I said, there were niggaz who had it all before him and lost it!!

Obama can't create jobs, create scholorships, small business loans, etc he's just a mouthpiece, but individuals with money can so your silly small-minded view of how things work proves that you know very little about how the real world works. Your right, it ain't his "responsibility to help the poor," but it's people like you who co-sign other niggaz who make it and bendover and shit on the folks who helped them get there. If you and other niggaz weren't buying his shit, showing up to his shows, etc he wouldn't be where he is. Nobody's saying he owes anyone anything, but he should feel a duty to help as many as he can without killing himself in the process. 5 million dollars can help a lot of people and the other 4 mil could still satisfy his desire to be the nigga who spent the most on a car!!

Sounds like a page taken from the white man's thoughts of all black people. It's your opinion that most people in the hood are lazy?? That's sad!! The fact is that most people in the hood have 1, no guidance and 2, no resources. Even having resources like hustle money, but no guidance won't help the average person in the hood. SB, Birdman, and a lot of other niggaz ain't worked no harder than a lot of other niggaz do or have trying to get in...they were just lucky enough to connect with the right people to make it happen. Also, tell me how a nigga who "pushes themselves" to be a doctor, but has 1.5 GPA can still become a doctor?? I know your answer, "they just ain't working hard enough." Bullshit!! Maybe the motherfucker simply ain't smart enough!! OR, MAYBE HE DOESN'T HAVE THE RESOURCES NOR GUIDANCE TO GET HIM WHERE HE NEEDS TO BE TO BE A DOCTOR.....which brings me back to people like Baby being able to possibly help folks like that with the tools to help them make a better life for themselves!! That person may need a tutor from a place like Sylvan Learning Centers, but they can't afford it. Point is that sometimes no matter how hard someone tries far too often that effort is not enough without some help!! Think about! I'm sorry, but a whole lot of people who have been successful had to rely on the help of others at some point before they made it.

You bugging saying that stupid shit. Its plenty of ppl that bust their ass everyday working hard but still living in the hood.

Some ppl may sacrifice for family rather then chase their dreams. Some ppl may not have a particular skill to even focus their attention towards.

To say everybody in the hood is in the hood because they are lazy is some crazy shit for a hood nigga to say.

If you go by these niggas logic then everybody on the I.C. should be able to afford Bentleys and Maybachs cuz everybody on here claim their a go getter.

They dont seem to understand that everybody needs a lil help, some guidance or a lucky break to reach that level of success as a Birdman or 50.

Bruh, Anybody who wants to get out the hood can. Gettin out don't mean you have to get a mansion in Beverly Hills or no shit like that. Shit, like I said earlier, work hard enough to put your family in a nice two story spot in a safe, quiet neighborhood. Get you a nice lil car. Everybody ain't gone have Maybachs and Buggati's. Get you a nice lil Infiniti, a Chrysler joint, shit. Everybody from my hood who wanted to get out, got out. The only people left in my old neighborhood are the hood niggas who don't wanna be shit, the bitches who ain't shit, the elders whose chance faded away long ago, and the children who can't do anything, but live by what they parents can do for them.
