Yeah, a lot of so-called rich people are in the red. They have more debts than assets. They might live in a nice house and drive a nice car, but in the back of their mind they can't sleep because they know there's no way to pay off their bills.

I worked at an investment banking firm (briefly) and the CEO and the senior traders made 10X more than me, but they were up to their necks in debt. When it was all said and done I had way less debt than them. I may have had a lower standard of living but I was closer to being debt free.

Dave be on point...i read Financial Peace University and it helped me overcome some poor habits I had financially. I had Never heard of the snowball method till I started listening to Ramsey.
